Another 10 Bugs Fixed

Slow and steady is the grind to eliminating the remaining small mountain of bugs and naggy issues, and they are dropping one by one which is great fun, and with each build the software gets stronger, such as the new ability for the static lights to really stand out and work very well in the new lighting process.


Also, new character skins emerge from our character artist as he juggles asset creation for the newly forming Character Kit, which will not only have the ability to play musical heads but also allow the user to choose from a wide variety of realistic skin tones with the slide of a mouse.

  1. Whilst your working on the lights any chance of a flicker feature in the edit panel ?
    Random flicker ( so many seconds ) it would be great for atmosphere and lightning simulation....

    Other than that looking forward to the next build :)
    All sounds fantastic ..

  3. I notice that the new characters look very similar to one of the old ones. It would nice to have some totally different characters, some with visible faces, different builds, clothes, gender, etc. I'm sure it will all come in time.

  4. With this fairly sudden return to character creator, I wonder if the Zombies that we are waiting for are being used with it as well? Time will tell I guess, as no mention of them this year so far.

    I agree we seem to be getting a good selection of soldiers, while they look pretty good they are all very similar. I suspect these are more for multi-player than anything else. Having the options above would be very useful to get more variety.

    1. Still working on the parts system which is why I am keeping to a test model before launching off and doing ten totally different ones (only to have to redo them when I change how the system works) :)

  5. the chas creator sounds awesome and lots of potential and i think is a deal maker or breaker. plus variety will be awesome. will it be a one genre type thing or will there be medieval selection for villagers plate armour attachments and melee etc. such a huge potential part of your system, as in not core but will bring your creator to a new level. which i think will bring in thousands of revenue. i think a big focus on this and the ease of how to create many varied characters will sway the crowds. and i think v9 is great minus a few bugs which i am sure you have solved. one question have you sorted the issue with windows and transparency yet?

  6. sorry for double post, will you also be adding endless sea or land horizon like in x 10, so up a mountain it does not look like you be seeing the rimbow, on the edge of discworld
